Calling all S4 and above people in Kinross

Hi - This is an invitation to all of the Junior Leader at Family Week to a Thank You for all your good work.

But we would also like to include their friends who are also S4 and above.

We plan to go to Dundee for a Lazer Quest on FRIDAY 27th AUGUST
meet at the OLD High School car park at 6.55pm
Cost will be £10 per person and we hope to have 3 games.

Activities for young people over the summer

Sunday 30th May - Record Breakers 7.30pm church centre

Sunday 6th June - Last Crossfire of the session. Barbeque at Aberdour beach. Meet at the old high school car park at 6.30pm. We aim to be back between 9.15 and 9.30pm. Please tell a Crossfire leader if you will be there in order to arrange transport or text Ruth (0775 2480412) P7s are very welcome to join us.

2-6 August - Family Week will take place in Loch Leven Community Campus each day from 10am till 12am. The senior group will be for everyone who is moving into S1-4. If you are currently S4+ and you'd like to volunteer to help then please speak to any youth leader and we'll be happy to give you more information.

On Sunday mornings - Although there will be no Crossfire over the summer holidays, Jampact will continue to meet every Sunday morning. You are welcome to attend the first part of the morning service at Kinross Parish Church (10.30am) At about 10.50am the young people age S1+ walk down to the church centre for Jampact. It lasts about half an hour and is a chance to explore what the Bible says and what it means today.

Sunday 22nd August - Crossfire will begin again at 7.30pm in the church centre.

No Slumber Challange last Friday night to Saturday morning was brilliant. Here are some snaps. I look forward to seeing the videos later.

Crossfire programme for this term

Weekend of 5-7 March - No Slumber Party (a sleepover with a difference!) Starts 8pm on Friday 5th March and finishes at 9.30pm on Saturday 6th March. Meet in the cafe at the church centre. It's free, but please let us know if you'll be there. (See leaders or text Ruth on 0775 2480412)
There will be no Crossfire meeting on the evening of Sunday 7th March.

Saturday 13th March - Drama workshop at Kinross Parish Church. 8-9.15pm. For everyone aged P6-S6. Performance during the church service on Sunday 14th March at 10.30am

14 March - Bones night in Kinross Parish Church (note change of venue) at the usual time of 7.30pm. We'll also watch the video footage frmo the No Slumber Challenge.

21 March - Strictly Come Praying. Inchyra Grange Hotel. You need a ticket for this event. Please pay £3 to Ruth Robertson (865985) no later than 6pm on Sunday 7th March.
